5 Step System: Make Money Promoting Other People’s Products in Kenya

There are a lot of different ways you can make money online in Kenya, but promoting other people’s products and services is one of the most common.

It’s also probably the easiest way for beginners to get started making some side income on their own.

In this blog post I am going to go over how you can set up your business with a five step system that will allow you promote someone else’s product or service and earn commissions from it.

Step One: Pick a Niche

What is a niche in Kenya?

The definition of a niche according to Wikipedia is “a specialized but popular subject area, activity, or product that has appeal across multiple demographic groups.”

The reason you need a niche when it comes to promoting other people’s products and services is because if you try to promote everything under the sun then there won’t be enough traffic going around for your website/blog/YouTube channel/social media account etc…

For example;

If I wanted to take up golf as my main source of income online in Kenya I would have two choices at this point in time;

  • Either focus on selling my own custom designed clubs which are better than all the brands out there right now or
  • Finding something else related to golf like tips & tricks so I can sell eBooks written by myself and my friends.

Step Two: Choose a Product to Promote

Once you have identified a niche, the next step is to pick a product to promote.

I know what you’re thinking…

”What if the product I want to promote is too expensive for me? What then?”

Well, just because it’s not in your budget right now doesn’t mean that you can’t work towards building up enough capital so when the time comes around next year or whatever month/year we happen to be at currently you’ll have more than enough cash on hand (or in MPESAl) ready and waiting to make sure all of your hard work pays off like clockwork!

Remember; Rome wasn’t built in a day but they were laying bricks every hour on the hour over there back in ancient times…

Step Three: Build Your List and Drive Traffic to the Sales Page

By now you should have all the tools necessary to not only build your business success but also promote other people’s products and services as well and make money.

One of the best ways that I have personally found to drive traffic towards a website or blog is by using email marketing.

Why?

Because whenever someone subscribes via an opt-in form (which can be placed anywhere) they are automatically added into my own personal autoresponder sequence which makes it easier for me to deliver top-notch content on a regular basis without having to spend more time than absolutely necessary doing so!

Now, to get people to visit your sales page faster, you need to buy traffic.

Whoa whoa whoa…I know what you’re thinking now…”Paying for traffic? You can’t be serious!”

I’m dead serious my friend.

If you want to make money promoting other people’s products and services in Kenya then this is one of the biggest things that needs to happen in order for your business plan to run successfully.

There are several different companies out there right now that will allow beginners like yourself to promote their products/services on a pay-per-click basis so you don’t have anything to worry about at least not too much anyway!

Step Four: Use an Autoresponder Follow Up Series

Remember; time is money my friend, and one of the best ways to make sure that you are not wasting any of your own personal capital on things like Facebook ads or Google Adwords (or whatever other pay per click service out there currently) is by simply building an email list…automatically!

As I mentioned above with sending regular content updates via email marketing in Kenya can help drive more subscribers towards your website/blog/YouTube channel etc..which means more traffic overall which also means potentially higher earnings as well.

Step Five: Earn Commissions from Affiliate Links or Coupons

If you are like me then you probably enjoy reading eBooks, watching YouTube videos, and other types of media that not only entertain but also educate as well.

Wouldn’t it be great if we could somehow make money from all those people out there who simply consume information rather than take action?

Well, now we can!

All thanks to affiliate links or coupons which allow us to monetize our traffic by promoting products & services via a special link (affiliate) or coupon code (coupon).

And this is where everything comes together.

  • Find a niche
  • Pick a product within that niche
  • Build an email list
  • Start promoting the products to the list you are building

And that is how to make money promoting people’s products in Kenya.
