SSL certificates are an integral part of online security, and as a website owner or user, you need to ensure that your website has an SSL Certificate. If you want to confirm that your website has an SSL Certificate, follow these instructions:
- Open the website in a browser
- On the left side of the address bar, check if the sign of a green padlock appears.
Different browser will display differently depending on the type of SSL in use. An example from different browsers is shown below. Note that most SSL certificates will not display the name of the organization, but only a green padlock.
