Vaultwarden Hosting in Kenya.Keep business logins out of scattered messages.

An account handover should not depend on finding an old message from a colleague. Put the credentials your team uses into a Vaultwarden workspace, organise shared entries and give each person their own sign-in. Our Kenya offer includes installation, updates and daily backups.

Make account access easier to hand over

A place for individual entries

Save the credentials assigned to you in your own vault. A browser extension or mobile client can make the right entry available when you sign in, instead of relying on a repeated password or a note on your phone.

Sharing around a working team

For an agency, group customer accounts by the people responsible for them. Vaultwarden organisations and collections provide a way to organise shared entries; the administrator should decide membership and permissions before invitations go out.

Continuity when staff change

Remove a departing person’s access, review shared accounts and update credentials where required. Keeping entries organised makes that review easier, but removing a vault invitation does not revoke a password someone already knows.

Move a small set of logins first

Choose the first accounts

Pick a few work accounts and decide who needs each one. Separate personal credentials from items that belong to the business, and name the person responsible for the workspace.

Connect the clients

Install a compatible Bitwarden client and set its server address to your Vaultwarden URL. Check HTTPS and sign in on the devices you actually use.

Check the shared entries

Create the intended collections and invite a colleague. Confirm that they can reach the right entries and cannot see material assigned to another team.

Prepare recovery

Store the recovery information safely and agree a backup/restore routine. Test an authorised recovery path before the workspace becomes the only place holding essential account details.

Vaultwarden Hosting FAQs

What is included in Vaultwarden Secure?

The current Kenya plan lists a private cloud vault instance, automatic installation, regular security updates, daily backups and dedicated support. Password sharing, device synchronisation and two-step authentication are also listed.

Review the live card for its current price and available terms. Agree any assistance beyond the listed service before scheduling a move.

Is Vaultwarden the official Bitwarden server?

Vaultwarden is an independently maintained server that works with compatible Bitwarden clients. It is a separate project, so official Bitwarden commercial subscriptions and support should not be assumed to come with it.

Choose the compatible client for your browser, desktop or phone, then enter your own server URL in that client’s environment settings.

How can two people share a business login?

Use an organisation and collection for the entries that belong to a working group. Give the intended people access through their own accounts, rather than sharing the workspace administrator’s login.

  • Name a collection around a real team or project.
  • Add only the entries that group needs.
  • Test access with a non-administrator account.
  • Review membership when responsibilities change.
Can I use the same vault on my phone and laptop?

The offer lists unlimited devices and cross-platform sync. Configure compatible clients with the same Vaultwarden server address, then check that a change made on one device reaches the other.

Keep device locks enabled and use the client’s appropriate vault-lock settings. If a device is lost, review its sessions and access promptly.

Does the vault need its own web address?

Use a stable HTTPS address for the workspace and configure clients to use it. The web vault requires a secure context, and a consistent address avoids reconnecting every device after a routine change.

Confirm the domain and certificate setup for your order. Keep the domain account accessible to the person responsible for the service.

Can I import passwords from another manager?

Plan a small trial import before moving every entry. Check the format supported by the source manager and Vaultwarden, then confirm that usernames, URLs, notes and shared entries arrived as expected.

An export may contain readable secrets. Handle it in protected storage and remove temporary copies when the migration is checked. Keep the original service available until the move is complete.

How do backups help if I lose access?

The plan includes daily backups, but a server copy and an individual account’s recovery method solve different problems. Keep your account recovery information safely and know who can request a service restore.

Agree what the service backup covers, how a restore is requested and how the restored vault will be checked. Test recovery using a sample entry rather than discovering the process during an incident.

What should we do when someone leaves?

Remove that person from the relevant organisation or collections and review any active device access. Change credentials for shared systems where access must end; someone may have retained a password outside the vault.

Assign an owner to each important business account, so an access review includes the underlying service as well as the password manager.

Can we limit who creates an account?

Vaultwarden provides controls for registration and invitations. Choose the intended enrolment method for your workspace, then confirm the setting with the administrator before sharing its address widely.

Test a permitted invitation and an unexpected sign-up attempt. That check makes the intended access policy visible.

What should I choose before placing an order?

Decide who will administer the workspace, which clients your team will use and which entries need sharing. Review the current billing terms and identify any import or recovery assistance required.

Start with the listed Kenya plan and a small trial group. Add the rest of the business accounts after the access and restore checks work.

Can I replace the master-password login with a passkey?

Vaultwarden’s current project documentation lists passkey login as a missing feature. Do not plan a passwordless vault sign-in on the strength of the catalogue’s “Passkey & 2FA” label.

The project supports two-step login methods, including WebAuthn security keys. Confirm the method available in your installed version and keep its account recovery information safely.
