Transferring Domain Names from Truehost to another Registrar
Transferring a domain from Truehost to another domain is simple, but may take time. Perform the following steps within Truehost Client Area and the other step at the new registrar’s client area. The process can take up to 11 days to complete.

Kindly note as per rule set out by ICANN
You may not successfully transfer a domain for 60 days if the following events have taken place less than 60 days ago
- Performed a domain registration or transfer.
- Change of registrant’s organization contact information.
- Updated registrant contact’s first and last name.
- Organization not listed.
You may not also successfully transfer a domain for a period of 10 days period within moving domain from one Truehost account to another

- Verify your contact information for the domain is correct.
- Unlock your domain
- Generate an EPP code if the new registrar requires it.
- Cancel or remove domain protection addon or service
From new registrars Client Area
1. Initiate the domain transfer by placing an order.
2. Provide the EPP code if needed.
3. Check the domain’s administrator’s email.
4. Accept or deny transfer request from Truehost or registry partner providers like KENIC, Public Registry e.t.c.
5. Allow up to 6 days within which you may reverse the action. After 6 days the domain transfer will be effectively complete.
6. Truehost will email a confirmation email on transfer completion when the transfer is complete.
