How To Reset The WordPress Administrator Password

There are more than one way to reset your password WordPress in case its forgotten or the user needs it changed for his own reasons. The administrator password is personal for the in-built account to make changes in in WordPress and can only be given out to authorized people. To ensure that your website is not easy to be compromised through hacking, strengthen your password using symbols,letters and characters you can always remember.

Follow the steps below for a successful password reset;

• Login to WordPress and click on all installations from the task bar on top
• click on your user-name in the list and click on the pencil icon to edit details.

• On the admin account edit your password

• Down there on the same page once you have reset,click on save installation details.

 

 

There is also an option for using lost password incase the user can remember the user name by;

• Go to the wordpress login page

• You get directed to a page where you fill your user-name and your new password details get emailed to you
