How To Force Non-www Version For All Sites on Your Account
A WWW URL can be changed to non-WWW in the website through .htaccess in the cpanel. This only requires a change in the domain name from the one in htaccess to another one. With a change in the domain name the future browsing impacts to your search indexing and therefore its good to ensure that you own both the versions.
How to force a non-www for all sites
- Log in to the cpanel
- Click on file manager- ensure the hidden files button is checked(at the settings)
- Public – html, -.htaccess, click edit
- On the rewrite section look for example.com and replace with your domain username.
This is how it will always be displayed when searched.
