[Outdated] How to change domain nameservers from my client area

Domain nameservers are meant to resolve domain names to the respective hosting servers. In a case where your domain resides with a different host from where you hosting package is, updating the domain nameservers to the ones given by your hosting provider will help point your domain to that host.

The following is a step by step guide on how to update your nameservers.

Step I

Click on the following link  https://truehost.co.ke/cloud/clientarea.php  to open the client area login interface. Enter your email and password. If you do not remember your password, use the Forgot password link.

Step II

Once you are logged in, on the dashboard, Use the Domains Menu and click on “My Domains” Link to display the domain names which you have purchased.

Step III

On the list of your domains, identify your target domain and use the menu on the far right that gives you an option to manage the domain nameservers. Select the “Manage nameservers” option.

Step IV

Enter your desired/given nameservers in the input boxes, you can enter at least 2 nameservers

Step V

Use the save button at the bottom of the page, can also be Change Nameservers to update your settings. After this, wait for propagation to complete so that your changes can reflect.
